Google Page Rank Update 2010

For the past few weeks we all have been waiting anxiously for Google PR update. Finally, GPR has been updated for pages / domains on this weekend & lot many webmasters are pretty happy with their performance, my linkedin Profile is now PR 2 :). This time some of pages have got Page Rank 6 as well.

The last time it was updated somewhere around Christmas holidays (2009). I also noticed that few of the newly launched websites getting a PR of 1 or more. Though, I am yet to hear if it has caused any damage to any of the website.

For those who are not aware of this term, PageRank is a degree or a scale to check popularity of any web page/domain through backlinks (link popularity) and several other factors by Google and it also influences the visibility on search engine.
